BLOGGED: Day 3 of Davao Food Appreciation Tour
The third day of DFAT was even more exciting! We toured the beautiful island of Samal, ate an unusual ‘pancit’ named Sanghon and got drowned by yoghurt.
Oh, heaven!

BLOGGED: Best of Travel Photos: My 7 Super Shots
I am not a professional photographer but I aspire to become one. I started shooting photos back in December 2009 when my mother gave me an early Christmas present - a Sony Cybershot DSC-S930 camera. But last year, I switched to DSLR cameras (Canon EOS 1000D and Canon EOS 1100D) after I used up all possible functions of a point-and-shoot camera.
At first glance, I thought that this tag thing is as easy as 1-2-3. But no, it was really stressful to browse my hard drive, which contained more than 50,000+ photos. Nonetheless, I still had a great time picking some of my best shots. I do hope you enjoy this post.
Thanks Cat for tagging me!

Here’s a summary report of what really happened during the first day of Davao Food Appreciation Tour (DFAT). Summary report talaga?!
BLOGGED: Touring Siquijor Island
Siquijor is the most beautiful province that I have visited so far. Even the most mundane thing seemed extraordinary - roads, the boulevard and the trees.
When I updated my Facebook and Twitter timeline about my spontaneous trip in Siquijor, people got worried. They thought that I would end up being eaten by Corazonangunangaswang or being played by witches through black magic. The truth is, I got enchanted by the island’s beauty.
The locals were very warm and accommodating. They were genuinely hospitable! Siquijor may have a scary reputation but the province is worth visiting. Peaceful, laid-back and clean - these words perfectly describe the province.
I’d definitely come back to Siquijor to explore more places.
BLOGGED: Where to Stay at Siquijor: End of the World Guesthouse
After taking photos of Siquijor’s clean pier, we walked all the way to the main highway of Siquijor. And just what we have expected, we were greeted with Traysikolmamsers and Mamsertwopiptylangposaakins, instead of the usual “Good morning, welcome to Siquijor!”. When Robbie told one of the drivers that we’re going to the End of The World, Ate Gail and I thought that he was just joking.
No, he was dead serious that time! True enough, our next destination was End of the World… guesthouse!
BLOGGED: The Mystical Island of Siquijor: An Overview
The original plan was this: tour the southern part of Cebu and the island of Bohol. We successfully did the former but failed to accomplish the latter due to some unfavorable events. Because of it, Robbie and I decided to come up with an alternative plan. Good thing was, we met RV and helped us with our predicament.
We did not really expect that we would invade the mystical island of Siquijor the following day!
