BLOGGED: My First Binondo Food Trip Experience
As a first timer in Binondo, I was expecting a cute Chinese girl to approach and greet me “Ni hao, welcome to Binondo!”. But instead, an irate woman caught our attention as she spat flaming words to everyone near her.
“Mga $)*%$)#*% niyo, ang aga-aga nambibwisit na kayo! $*%*$ niyo!!!”
Translation: WELCOME TO BINONDO, FUCKTARDS!
Ni hao mga kapamilya! (LOL) Went to Binondo, Manila this morning and spent the rest of the day there. Binondo food trip for the win!!!
That’s me with Chino and Robbie.
Blogged: Satirically Speaking
Remember when Rep. Winston “Winnie” Castelo proposed the Anti-Planking Law? It had spread like wildfire on the internet and has drawn attention not just from the Philippines but also to the world. It was even a trending topic on Twitter! A lot have posted comments about it, mostly negative.
Apparently another news, still related to Rep. Winnie, broke out about the proposal of Anti-Angry Birds Bill. Funny thing was, a LOT of people believed it.
Miss Universe Nostalgia. 1994, Manila, Philippines.
This is my earliest memory of Miss Universe. I was only four back then. The opening number was so vibrant and colorful!
Blogged: Survivor Manila: The Php 1500 Challenge
Three days prior my trip to Manila, my mom told me that she didn’t have enough money; she can only give me Php 1,500.
I was a bit worried because I might run out of cash in the middle of my trip. But, being an adventurous and a risk taker, I took it as a challenge.
Sit back and relax as I reveal how far I traveled Manila, armed with only Php 1,500.
Blogged: Manila in the Eyes of a Davaoeño
“Horrendous traffic. Very dirty. Crowded. Stressful way of life.”
These are some words that my friends use to describe Manila. Some of them discourage me of visiting Manila; they keep insisting that I should visit Baguio, Batangas or Laguna instead. But I always have this urge to travel and explore Manila. Behind the towering skyscrapers of Makati Central Business District and the heavily polluted waterways and highways lies the soul of Manila, curling up in her own bed, crying.
One misunderstood soul.
Armed with only Php 1,500, I flew to Manila in search of her soul whilst braving its chaotic environment.
And then I discovered the real beauty of Manila.
Home sweet home.
I survived Manila with only Php 1500 in my pocket. lol (airport terminal fee included).
Day 145-148

Aboard Philippine Airlines PR 820 (Airbus A330-300) bound for Manila with my co-delegates at VYLH (Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health). We attended a National Leadership Congress at Fontana Leisure Park, Pampanga. This is Biboi, by the way from Davao del Sur. The lighting was good so I grabbed the opportunity.

First night at Fontana Leisure Park, Pampanga. Took this photo around 12:40 AM. We were still busy polishing our steps for the tomorrow’s cultural show. It was still a great night despite the lack of sleep.

We stayed in a beautiful villa. Room 3913!

On our way home. Took this at around 5:30 PM after eating our dinner (uggghhh I hate airport food - expensive but ewwww-tasting. It was raining so hard that our flight got a bit delayed.
