I have to be completely honest with you.

I used to have that “UP and others” way of thinking when I was still studying. Yes it’s harsh and completely irrational. Later I realized that that kind of notion only comes from an immature person. There’s nothing wrong if you’re completely proud of your university. Albeit there’s a fine line between being proud and being bashful.

Just because a certain university is great, doesn’t mean you already are.

Excellence is not just based from getting high grades in all subjects; it’s how you serve the people and country through your acquired skills and talents.

Today, it doesn’t really matter whether you are from UP or other universities. At the end of the day, each one of us has a different story to tell but has a similar plot: We tried our best (extrance exam). We survived (college is really exhausting but fun). And we embarked on a new journey (life after graduation).
